This past April was busy month! Illini for Christ coordinated a retreat for area teens and college students from April 21-23. During this retreat the group spent time playing games, hearing great messages, being fed great food, singing songs of praise to God, and even watching the LEGO movie!
This time also included a period of reflection. With the theme of “Change,” our goal was to be aware of God’s presence despite all of the fast-moving changes that happen around us. An additional goal was to ask if God calls us to change and, if so, if what change might look like.
All-in-all we had a great time and are hopeful to do something similar next year!
