This fall we are excited to announce that we have two new coordinator roles. These coordinators are not students, but rather work with students on a regular basis and are also passionate about their own faithfulness to Jesus. Meet them below!

Ruthie Counter
Ruthie Counter is the Adopt-a-Student Coordinator. She oversees the Adopt-a-Student program where students will have the opportunity to be paired with a family or couple at the Philo Road Church of Christ. Families and students are expected to cultivate a relationship with one another centered around Jesus which includes the adopted family be a local resource for the student. Ruthie is author of a new book, Upon the Face of the Waters, in addition to being the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Parkland College.
Kingsley Boateng
Kingsley Boateng is the International Student Coordinator. He oversees connections with international students which includes making sure they have resources that they need when they arrive in Champaign-Urbana and facilitates an up-and-coming conversational English program. Kingsley is an Assistant Director of Bioscience Research and Microscopy at the Woese Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois.

Please join us in welcoming our new coordinators and praying for their service, work, and well being this fall!
